PFC Kyle Lee Staniszewski, 36, of Bern Township, Berks County passed away January 26, 2008, in Lakewood, Washington. He was the husband of Cassie J. Paup of Temple. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Diane L. (Spitko) Staniszewski St. Francis with whom he last resided and Peter Paduch, Jr. of Orefield. He was a 1989 graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School and a graduate of Penn State-Berks Campus with a degree in occupational therapy. Kyle served in the Army as a Specialist in Fort Lewis, Washington. He was an occupational therapist at Madigan Army Medical Center, near Tacoma, Washington since July, 2006. Kyle served in Irag in 2005 and returned home April 2006. He earned an Eagle Scout Award from Troop 150, Alsace Lutheran Church. Kyle will be lovingly remembered as a truly giving man with a huge heart. Never hesitating to lend a helping hand to anyone, always putting the needs of others before himself and therefore touching the hearts and lives of all he met. A devout animal lover, he treated both animals and people equally. He was a kind, genuine, strong, selfless man who will forever remain a hero in our hearts.
