SSGT Franklin E. Wadsworth passed away in a motorcycle accident in Clarksville, Tennessee, on May 26, 2012. He was born on December 6, 1981 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Karen M. and Grant A. Wadsworth. He grew up in South Salt Lake and attended Granite High School.

SSGT Franklin Evan Wadsworth, U.S. Army assigned to Fort Campbell, Kentucky, attached to Battalion Support Company/Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 4th Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne). He served one combat tour in Afghanistan in support of OPERATION Enduring Freedom and two combat tours in Iraq in support of OPERATION Iraqi Freedom and OPERATION New Dawn. His previous duty stations were Fort Bragg, North Carolina and Mannheim, Germany.

Frank was a heroic soldier, husband, daddy, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was loved by everyone that knew him and will be sorely missed.
